Our office serves seniors in Vancouver and surrounding communities, including Richmond, Vancouver. This position may require travel to those areas – we do our best to match you with clients in your area.
Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a car, available for evening and weekend shift in the Vancouver area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.
As a Caregiver you will make a difference in your clients lives by:
- Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
- Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation.
- Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
- Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc.
- Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care.
- Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
- Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

Job Requirements:
- Driver's License and own vehicle is a MUST!
- Genuinely concerned about helping people
- Access to a mobile phone
- HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number is a MUST
- Current First Aid and CPR Training
- Criminal Record Check
- Weekend/evening availability is a MUST!
